23 week belly shot

So I tried to turn my head to look at the camera but felt lame, so here is a profile belly shot. 23 weeks. I feel real big already, can't imagine what 17 more weeks will bring!

Notice the strange shadows on the picture? Well that is Nate's pinky blocking the flash. Ha ha. He holds his tacos like that too. I imagine if he drank tea, that pinky would be up then too. He thought it was funny too, I am not making fun of him without his consent. :)

Quick story. Today at church Tanner started talking about penises in sacrament meeting. I don't know why it comes up at church, of all places. He did this when we were in Bluffdale too. He said "Mom? Do girls have penises?" The people behind us heard and were laughing of course.

Sorenson family pictures

I took these pictures for my friend Alicia's family. She has taken lots of our family pictures. Check out her photography here. This was a really tough one for me. 3 kids under the age of 4. Hard to get them all to look and smile. Here are two, pretty much the only two, I was happy with. Any tips for taking pictures of toddlers? I like the candid ones of families where they are just hanging out having fun. True smiles, real life. Maybe next time I will try that approach. But it can be challenging that way too in different ways.

I got this bracelet at my ultra sound. So pretty exciting news huh? We are excited to take on a girl.

Father's Day

First of all. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! to all the dads out there, especially my dad, dad-in-law and husband.You are all wonderful men who bless my life and my boys' so much. Love you all.

We are back in Pocatello and it is good to be back. Utah was fun while it lasted. The last few days we celebrated my nephew Ty's birthday. We went to Toy Story 3 (really fun movie), and then to a park for pizza and cake. Cute cake huh? Kristin, Mickie's sister did it. Next birthday cake I make I will try this fondant. I am told it is very easy.

I love how babies hate the feel of grass on their legs so they walk on hands and feet.

We saw Erin and her kids one last time too at a splash park. Reconnecting with friends was one of the best parts about being in Utah.

And we enjoyed our last couple days with the Garner's. What a great family to let us stay with them.Tanner is already missing them. He used to sneak upstairs when I was still sleeping to play with the big boys. They were all so patient with Tanner and Dallin.

Annalisa's kids

We got together with Annalisa one last time before we take off. We sort of celebrated Dallin's birthday one more time at a park that is close by.

Oh boy! My boys!

I don't know what has gotten into these two, but both Tanner and Dallin have been making trouble lately. Dallin got his hands on his aunt Mickie's camera and broke it, so we are working on fixing that right now. Don't know what it will cost yet, but not something we want to be putting our money towards when we have tuition and books to think about. We told Dallin we will have to work it off, when he is old enough to work it off.

Then, today I picked up movie tickets at the theater and Tanner ran over to the arcade to play for a minute. I go over after and he is standing right in the middle of the arcade with his pants down peeing on the floor! Where he got the idea that he can just pee anywhere, I don't know. Only one guy about 25 years old saw it and he made a joke about it saying it will make a great story later. As we leave he is pointing us out to about five of his buddies. Didn't take long for me to laugh my head off about it. I was in shock at first.

Michaela took these adorable pictures. Tanner smiles way better for her. She is in a photography class and was snapping away all weekend and got great shots!

Happy Birthday Dallin!

He turned 2 today. He is obsessed with Toy Story these days, so we kind of made that the theme. He was spoiled by his aunts and uncles with Toy Story toys. He was so excited. Tanner was a bit jealous. He wishes he was the birthday boy; talks about his birthday all the time.

Yesss! A back pack!

Tanner thinks some of the toys are his. Got pretty upset about not getting all the attention. Poor guy.

Had to get a shot of all the Spence brothers and families. Notice all the boys babies. Wonder if we will break the boy streak. Will know next Monday!

Ty just had his first birthday too. Lots of June and July birthdays in the Spence family.

Miniture Golf

Nate's Dad and brother, Braden, came up from Texas this week. They took us mini golfing. I was nervous about taking the boys because you know how, or can imagine how, little boys like to play with balls and love to swing, well, just about anything around. I thought they would mess everything up, and of course they did--hitting all the balls, picking them up whenever they wanted, slowing us down--but we didn't worry much about keeping score and just enjoyed. We get to play more tonight at Nate's brother's birthday party. Nate's other brother, Jordan, and his family will be here for the weekend. Should be a fun little reunion. Lots of pictures to come.

Seven Peaks

I got pictures from Mickie of us at Seven Peaks. I had more fun than I expected. The last time I went I had just had Dallin and didn't get to play. Just sat and watched. This time the boys were old enough to go in the little kid pools and down slides. It is a really fun place. Me and the boys went by ourselves yesterday afternoon again.

 

Dallin was horrified. Too bad you can't see his face closer.

 Tanner didn't want to go for a while but once he did of course he said, "Let's do it again!"

All that fun wore them out. Dallin hates his car seat sometimes and pulls his arms out. That is what he did here. Looks so uncomfortable and unsafe!

Thanksgiving Poing Farm

We headed to Thanksgiving Point today. There is a lot to do there, but we just went to the Farm. It was fun except for the hour long wait to ride the ponies for about one minute.

Ever seen a white peacock? I hadn't. Pretty cool.
