Grandma and Grandpa Tanner

My grandma Tanner passed away a couple weeks ago, and her funeral was last week. It was held at the church she used to go to in Talent. My grandpa mad these stained glass windows for the church.

It was sad to see her go, but I am happy for her that she isn't suffering anymore. She had Alzheimers and it was hard to see her toward the end.

We got a kid time membership again. Mostly for the girls, the boys are a little old for it. But we had fun going with out the boys this week.

We watched Burton this week while Jesse and Shaye went on a Rogue Jet boat ride. Ashlyn likes taking care of him. 

 We went for a walk to Griffin Creek, but didn't have a stroller, so we ended up carrying him there. This was the day the smoke rolled in from our first summer wild fire. So sad.

A fun App

FaceApp is all the rage right now. The kids have been playing with it like crazy. You upload a photo of yourself and then you put filters on it to make you smile, age, have tattoos etc. Here are a few the kids did.

Shopping

I took the girls with my to the store and Ashlyn wanted to do everything. She didn't want me to tell her where anything was or anything. She did a great job! She asked me if when she is old enough if she can shop for me. I said YES!

Britt children's festival

It was just me and the girls at the festival this year. We brought Whitney along too. It was fun, as always.

Family in town

We had a lot of company this week. Steve and Connie came, and Matt and Mickie's family came. Capri got baptized this weekend so it was a good time for a little reunion. It was 4th of July too, so we had a lot of Spence family time.  On the 4th Harvey Bragg rented this area with the plane. We got to go up inside and hang out for 4 hours until the firework show. We played games and visited and enjoyed some yummy desserts. 

 We went bowling too.

 Tucker lives in Utah, so we don't get to see them very often. Was fun to have him stay with us, and Braden and Pam too, of course..

Summer fun

Cousins in town for 4th fo July. We went to Calin's baseball game and the girls hung out. Such cute girls!

Dallin did a day camp and the last day we got to go to a BBQ at Emmigrant Lake and water slides. They slide for an hour and a half and then played in the lake. 

 Dallin was in the green group, thus the green bandana. It was an environmental camp. They learned about soil and water and bugs and things.

Pioneer Trek

Tanner got to go on the pioneer trek with our stake. Sounds like it was a good experience. 

This was his "family" that he got to be with the whole time.

 Yep, that is Tanner being pulled on the hand cart. Not sure why they told him to get on top. Maybe he was too slow. ;)
