I have great, talented friends

My friend Tristen, who graduated from the Paul Mitchell Academy, cut my hair this week. I love it. She did an A line in the back, kind of like everyone else is doing these days, but I think it is so cute. You can't see it too well in this picture, I should have used a white background instead of my kitchen.
Then, later today Alicia, my photographer friend, is taking some pictures of my boys. I will post them later.

Asthma or Peanut Allergy???

I don't know which is worse, but it's very possible Tanner has one of them. Probably the allergy. He was coughing and wheezing really bad last night. After Nate left for the ER with Tanner I remembered he ate a peanut butter cup from my ice cream about and hour before. Oops. He usually doesn't go near the stuff so I haven't had to watch it too closely. You know when he smells or eats PB because he dry heaves or scrapes his tongue like he ate poison. And he did that after he took a bite. At the hospital he got a breathing treatment and a prescription for an anti-inflammatory medicine. The doc said he needs to see a specialist and then get a prescription for an Epi-pen in case of anaphylaxis. Apparently peanut allergies are one of the most serious kinds. Yikes! I hope he outgrows it. The doc told Nate about some cases where PB was the secret ingredient in chili and a guy ate some and died. Then some kid ate something fried in peanut oil and died. Scary!

I know stats aren't interesting to some, but Dallin is now 25 inches long (99th percentile) and is 13 lbs (75th percentile). Big boy!

Tanner celebrated his 2nd birthday with his second cousin Li when we were in Oregon. I'll post more of the trip later.

Not much going on but Twilight

We haven't been up to much, probably because I am reading the Twilight series, not because there isn't anything to do. I read it in just a couple days, not because it is the greatest book, but the author does keep you reading. It is a vampire love story for the few of you who have never heard of it. I would have liked it better as a teenager for sure. Still good though, don't get me wrong. The main character, Bella, gets on my nerves though with her bad attitude and complaining.

Love free stuff!

Yup, all this stuff was free. Walgreens had rebates on these shampoos and conditioners. And today they had a spend $20 get $5 off internet coupon. So I used that to cover the Pantene. That rebate didn't make it free; it made it buy one get one free.

Only problem with rebates is they take so darn long to get back. Oh well it is about $35 worth of stuff FREE.

Bowling

We had 2 free games of bowling at the REX on our Starving Student cards, so we went. Tanner used bumpers and a ramp to bowl and did pretty good (how can you not?). He played 9 of my 10 frames and beat Nate's score. We had a lot of fun. Usually I hate bowling with Tanner because he runs in front of people bowling, tries to lift up balls, and runs and slips on the greased lanes. I had a lot more fun when I sacrificed my game for him to play. I enjoyed watching just as much.

That was a lucky shot on my part, the ball is actually going through the hoop as I took the picture. Well, it is probably a lucky shot on Tanner's part too. He gets maybe 1 in 10 in. Even with those stats, I still think basketball may be Tanner's sport. He LOVES it. We bought him a little hoop to hang on the door and he shoots hoops several times a day. He almost always asks for a high five.

In Rexburg they do a free lunch in the park for kids ages 1-18, so when they have something that Tanner will eat we get it for him. It was pizza day in these pictures.

Forgotten about pictures

Dallin is starting to smile some. You can kind of see it in this one. Can't wait til he is more interactive. I am curious to see what his personality will be like. He seems very easy going and tolerant. A nice balance between him and Tanner if he is. Then there is goofy Tanner. We got both legs in one pant leg. Oops.
