Coast trip

I was invited to go with some friends to the coast for a weekend. It was lots of fun. I've never done that before. We rented a house near a lake. We ate good food, went on walks, talked A LOT, sat in the hot tub, visited light houses, watched a movie. Super fun! 

Braces

Tanner got his braces on last month. He is getting his upper jaw expanded, and then this summer he will have a bionator which will realign his bite.

Preschool fun

Amber's preschool teacher takes pictures of the kids and posts them on a Facebook page, so I stole these from there. She really enjoys her little, all-girl class.

Art Night

Every year the kids' school does Family art night. Nate works too late to go, so we recruited aunt Kris to come help. They decorated a journal, planted some seeds, folded envelopes, made a mask, hacky sacs and catapults. Fun night!

Random stuff

The YMCA is practically our home away from home. We are there a lot. Here is Ashlyn on the rock wall.

 Ashlyn got a new bike and gave amber her old one. She is doing well on it. Ashlyn is a good teacher and cheerleader.

The girls are doing swim lessons at the YMCA, I got lots of pictures of Amber over the last couple of months, so here is one of Ashlyn.

 Uncles and are always showing the kids funny videos on their phones. I have a picture like this of their uncle Braden doing it, and I know Matt has done it too. Uncle Shaun was showing them the "Pen Pineapple Pen" video. 

Basketball

The boys are playing basket ball again this year. We got really lucky and Dallin is on a team with a bunch of kids from school and church. Tanner is on a team with school friends and our neighbor so we carpool. 

These are just of Dallin. I have to get some pics of Tanner too. They are so horrible on my iPhone though. :(

Snow week

 We had recored breaking snow fall a few weeks ago. The kids were out of school a full week! It was right after their Christmas break, so it was a long one. 3 weeks!

This pictures was as it started, and then the one below was at it's worst. 

 We have to find all kinds of indoor activities for the kids. They played games. 

Made snow cones. 

 Had a friend over.

 Went to Kid time. They stayed in the craft room most of the time.

 Had cousins over and made cake in the Easy Bake oven.

Princesses

I love having girls. Amber likes to wear her dress up clothes out in public, if I let her. This picture on the right is her grocery shopping with me. She didn't want her dress to drag on the ground. 

The other picture is her sporting a cute hand-me-down coat she got from a friend.

Ashlyn is super social, and always wants to have friends over. We regularly have friends over. This little cutie with my girls goes to school and church with Ashlyn. They ate a whole thing of blueberries just the three of them during their tea party. 

 These two see a lot of each other these days. I watch Whitney so that Paula can work at the YMCA and Paula watches them sometimes while I do homework. They have tea parties often too. Girls are fun!

 Another hand-me-down dress from a friend. Amber loves it! Has worn it to church every Sunday for a month now.
