Trees of Mystery-Memorial Weekend

We decided to head to Crescent City or the holiday weekend. Really fun trip! We spent some time at the Trees of Mystery which I wasn't so sure about, but it was really cool!

 Looking at some thing cool, I am sure. As a kid I don't remember a lot of family vacations that weren't at the coast. Was fun to come back to the Redwoods as an adult with  my parents and with my kids.

 Amber was really nervous, but she got used to it after a minute.

Preschool Graduation

This year Ashlyn and I were part of a co-op preschool. The kids had class twice a week at one of our homes. It was kind of fun. I'd rather not teach, I think, and leave that to the professionals. :)

Technically, Ashlyn doesn't graduate from preschool since she has one more year of it.

They made frames to put their graduation pictures in. 

The lady handing out the diplomas is doing her own preschool next year, and I am hoping to put Ashlyn in it. 

Coolest grandparents!

My dad put up a zipline in their big ole back yard and now that is where the kids want to be ALL the time.

Amber doesn't like it when other people show me affection, especially Nate. It is pretty funny, and weird.

We missed my other 3 siblings this year. 

I have big boys now. It is so sad to see my babies get all big, but so fun to see the people they are becoming. They are pretty good kids. I'm proud of them. 

Color Run

It has become a tradition to run in the Color Run each spring. Nate ran with Tanner, Dallin and Ashlyn while I pushed Amber in a stroller and walked with my sister Tracie and my friend Bree. My hip has been bothering me so I can't handle running these days. :(

 They had the coolest tattoos this year! They were metallic "HAPPY" tattoos. 

 Maybe we will have to try a mud race one of these years instead. 

It is soccer season again!

Tanner and Dallin are both playing again this season. Different teams. Could have been on the same team but they didn't want to be.  Nate is coaching Dallin and Tanner is on a team he has been with for a few seasons now. 

 Tanner is getting so much better. He used to shy away from the ball, but now he is much more aggressive. 

 Dallin has surprised me too. His endurance has improved so much. He used to get tired so quickly but he will run after that ball the whole game. He is really driven to win! I don't like the competitiveness of sports myself, but my boys thrive on it!
