Bath time is his favorite time of day. He used to cry when I took him out, but I started to let the water out when he was still in it. When it is gone he is content getting out.

Nate got awsome grades last semester. One A- and the rest were A's! He's obviously been very blessed because he's never had better grades, but he has never been busier than he was last semester since he started a full time job.

While I was in the shower

I usually leave Tanner in my bedroom, which is next to the bathroom, and give him some toys while I am showering. When I came in to check on him I couldn't find him. He rolled under our bed apparently.

A Poop Story

Tanner was in his walker and I heard him pushing and grunting, but I just left him there. Big mistake! I got him out to change his diaper and OH BOY! All up his back. I tried to take his shirt off without getting poop all over everything, but I didn't succeed--he was too squirmy. It was too much to clean up with wipes so I figured I'd throw him in the bathtub. I left him on the changing table for a minute to put his shirt in the sink to soak (don't worry, I disinfected after), and when I came back he had rolled in the poo and had it all over his body and head. He even had some in his ear. So, I gave him two baths. One to rinse him off, and then one to lather him up. The lesson I learned--don't let a baby poop in his walker, it has no where to go but up.

Sorry, no pictures of this little fiasco. I thought it would be too gross, but now I am kind of wishing I had taken some. Maybe next time. And you know there will be a next time. :)

Fun at the Park

Tanner got kind of cold. It was a nice day but the temperature dropped quickly after sun went down. We are excited for summer.

Singing

Ok so he isn't really singing, but he likes to make noise when we play music. I thought it was kind of cute.

New couch & loveseat

We splurged a little and bought a new couch and love seat. We got a really good deal on them, so I don't feel too bad. And hopefully they will last us many, many years. They better. Tanner sinks right into it. He loves it too. Yesterday he sat there for an hour playing with all of his toys.

First Teeth

Tanner has two little teeth that have broken through. I don't understand why that is such a big ordeal for babies! He's been fussy, won't eat as much so he gets up at night to make up for not eating during the day, and for some reason he got a diaper rash too.

On a more positive note. Nate aced his statistics test and got the highest score in his class. He's just doing awsome this semester!

Oregon Here We Come!!!

Nate found out that he can get some time off so we will be in Oregon April 5th or 6th to the 10th or 11th. We're pretty excited. I have been dying to go home. It's been almost a year.

I mostly liked this video because of the first couple seconds when he is looking up at the light. He sounds like a bird to me.

Cutie

6 month check up

Tanner got shots today. He's such a brave kid. He wimpered for a minute or less and then he was fine. This morning he hit himself in the face with a book and screamed for a good 5 minutes, so it was funny that the shots didn't really faze him. It was the tetnus one though, and I remember those hurting for days. So, we will see how he does. He is in the 95th percentile for height and the 25th for weight. He doesn't seem that tall. We got him a walker and his feet don't touch the ground even when it is on the lowest setting. I guess he has a long torso.
