Siblings

The kids can be so nice to each other sometimes. I love those moments. 

Amber is very affectionate; loves to hug people and put her arm around you, like she is doing to Tanner. 

Ashlyn learning math without even realizing it. I love games like that. She helped Amber count too. 

Amber will probably have the easiest time going into kindergarten because her brothers and sisters teach her so much.

Vancouver

Nate took Ashlyn and Dallin up north with him last time he went. He had work stuff going on in Portland, so Mickie agreed to have my kiddos join them. She is the best host. They went to the lake and had s'mores. They had a great time.

Summer fun

We try to stay busy everyday. We usually do a pretty good job with kids bowl free bowling, summer movies, summer PE, summer reading, and swimming.

The kids earned their free pizza for reading 10 books. 

 We go bowling a couple times a week. They are getting good. They will be way better bowlers than me just cuz they are getting so much experience so young.

 At the Grether's house they have all these told toys that they kept for their grandkids. Well, until they have grandkids (which won't be much longer since Jesse and Shaye announced they are having a baby) we will use it. We were swimming one afternoon and Margie brought out a cotton candy maker. They loved that.

Other Swimming

The kids LOVE to swim. They would do it all day long if they could. We have access to a few pools this summer so we get wet quite a bit. They are all getting really good at swimming.

This was at a friends house for a baby shower. It is actually a pool. It looks like a like doesn't it. It was a beautiful pool.

Birthdays

June is a big birthday month for us. Dallin the 13th, Amber the 15th, and me the 19th. I took Amber to fro yo her birthday and we had a family party. We made a piñata for it though.

Amber helped me make the death start piñata for Dallins' Star Wars party. 

Dallin got this Chewbacca mask from a friend and amber loves her Belle dress. She saw a girl limboing on America's Got Talent, and decided to practice. 

End of school

In the fifth grade the kids do a report about a state and come up with a presentation to share with parents and class mates. He did a good job with his poem. 

Dallin went on an overnight trip with his class to Bend. He had a great time. A couple parents I know went and sent me some pictures.

Pool

Paul and Paula put up their pool for the summer, this is what it looks like with everyone in it. Chaos!

Teeth

Tanner got his braces off and got a retainer, but quickly got the bionator, which will bring his jaw forward. It isn't a very fun contraption, but hopefully it will make his jaw look great.

Lake and Home Depot

We went out to Applegate Lake last month with Paul and Paula. They have kayaks so we played in the water and enjoyed the sunshine.

We usually forget about the building clinics at Home Depot, but I randomly remembered and they kids made tic tac toe games. It was fun! And they have a nice game to play during sacrament meetings now.
