Washington trip with the kid

 We went up to Washington to visit Matt and Mickie family and have some fun with cousins. Nate stayed home since it was almost a whole week he'd have to take off of work. 

We were in town for Chick Fil A day, so we got free food when we dressed like cows. 

 We were also there for 711 day, on July 11th, so we got free slurpees.

Matt and Mickie have a big beautiful back yard that the kids got to run around in. 

We went to the lake one evening. It is right by Matt and Mickie's house.

The girls even practiced their stunts at the lake. :)

The boys went with Mickie and I on a hike while the girls were at their last day of camp. Isn't it a beautiful place to hike? I loved our time there. I got to take some pictures of 2 families and a senior while we were there also.

The girls did Cheer/Dance camp when we were there. The boys did a sports camp too, that was the main reason we went. I was lots of fun. Even a week later the girls are still doing their dances.

Britt Children's festival

We go to the children's festival most years. You can tell that I stayed with the girls because all the pictures is of them. The boys are old enough to go off on their own.

The trash was probably the most fun part. They were looking for trash all over the place to put in the talking dragon.

 It is so fun that the kids are doing all the same activities that I did when I was their age. They made candles in the sand.

And had a dance party at the end.

Hikes

 We like to hike. I guess I should say, Nate and I like 

to hike. We drag the kids along. Sometimes they like it and sometimes they don't. :) This one was in Jacksonville. Just Nate and the girls and me.

The kids and I went to Lithia so I could look for a place to take some pictures. We walked the trails while we were there and stopped at the playground.

 I love this tree, or I guess I should say trees. Isn't it cool?

 We hiked Roxy Ann on the 4th of July with all of the Spences and Braggs. Some of us went up to the top. It was beautiful.

Camping at Sunset Bay

We tried a new camping spot this year. We went up North to Sunset bay. It was a nice change. 

The tide pools were more exciting here. Lots of crabs.

 We visited some botanical gardens to that were beautiful. Found a rose that is named "Queen Amber"

We did miss the playground that we usually get to play on at Harris beach, but this camp ground had great hikes.

Bowling

We signed up for the Kids Bowl Free Program this summer again. We've been a few times. We've had a busy summer, so we haven't gone as much. 

 Amber and I weren't bowling this game, so we took some selfies. Why not?

We had a poser competition. We wanted to see who had the best pose after they bowled.

Train Park activity

Our ward had a get together at the train park. It was a lot of fun. They had the train going around and around non stop.

Amber's party

Amber had a fun 5th Birthday party. She wanted cotton candy cupcakes.

 She wanted to do a piñata, so we made one.

Birthday Ice Cream

We love Cold Stone! We get birthday coupons so I took the kids with birthdays to get ice cream. Dallin brought his buddy Cade.

Silly Selfies with the Girls

Everyone tells me that Amber looks just like me. I think I can actually see the resemblance! After Amber cut her hair, I starting thinking it might be nice to have a short cut. My hair had been thinning anyway, so I did it. I like it, but I miss my long hair. 

 ha ha. Amber had pinched her nose, and one nostril kind of stuck. :)
