Assembly

Ashlyn got a couple of wards at school. One for AR reading and the other for having a big heart.

Dallin also got to be Bucky Beaver, the school mascot. He is in student council and they take turns. 

Amber and I

 We've been going to Kid Time quite a bit lately when we have some time to kill. This is the dentist office play area. It is probably Amber's favorite part. She loves playing on the "old fashioned" phone. :) She always asks me if she is holding it right. 

 This one was funny, because I kept saying "Amber, Look!" She finally did and said "I am on the phone! Just a minute!" The kitty on her back is a back pack she bought with her own money.

 We've had beautiful February weather, so Amber and I have gone out for some short bike rides, well, she bikes, I walk.

Burton

I became an aunt, again. Jesse and Shaye had Burt last week. He is a cutie. I get to take his newborn pictures tomorrow at Michaela's house. Excited to learn from Michaela and get my hands on this little guy again. It is fun to hold and cuddle a newborn. 

Parke

Dallin had two basketball games on Saturday, so we ended up on the playground for most of it. He is on a team with Jaxon Neville, so Amber enjoyed playing with his little sister, Noelle.

 

This past week

Tanner volunteered to be part of the back stage crew at the talent show.

 Ashlyn had a friend over and we made cotton candy.

 The kids had school off on Friday so we went swimming at the YMCA.

 Tanner is a party pooper these days and wanted to go hang out at a friend's house.

Halloween

We went to another neighborhood for trick or treating this year, and it was a bit disappointing. We went to a really popular one and the kids had to wait in lines at some houses. Next year we will stay in our neighborhood.

Tanner was a baseball player, Amber started out at a witch then turned into a princess.

 Ashlyn became the witch. We trick or treated with lots of cousins on both sides of the family. Ashlyn had fun with Capri. Last time we trick or treated together they were babies.

Roxy Ann Hike

We had a beautiful Saturday last weekend so we went hiking with Paul and Paula and Jesse and Shaye. We didn't realize how long of a hike that was! 

Amber and I didn't make it to the top. I wanted to, but I didn't want to listen to her whining all the way up and back.

We stopped at a bench on the way down and sat and waited for a bit.

 The sun was setting on our way down. It was beautiful. I love being out in nature. Especially with this cute hiking buddy.

Rogue Gallery

We went to the art gallery for family art day again. It is fun to see the new displays every month.

Caught this cuteness one Sunday as we got ready for church.

Ashlyn got blush for Christmas. The boys got new ties.
