Ashlyn's Birthday Party

I kind of had fun with this party. I usually hate party planning because it is so much work to have a party at your house, but it was fun and cute. Ashlyn wanted to do a Troll theme. It was colorful and crafty. She had 12 people there! I didn't expect all but 1 of the friends we invited to be able to come.

First, they made hug bracelets.

 Then, edible necklaces.

 I split them into two groups to make it more manageable, and Michaela came to help. Thank goodness for her! Nate took the boys, so I would have had to take on 12 screaming, giggling girls by myself if Michaela didn't help. 

 They played troll Bingo. Those funky headbands are their troll hair. Made out of tule. Some of them were pretty floppy.

 She got some fun gifts from her friends. 

 They had rainbow jello with 6 colors! Rainbow rice crispy treats and cookies. 

Washington

I went up to Camas, WA to take some pictures of some families and we happened to go up the same weekend that Emma had her birthday party. It was a candy land theme. Super creative and fun. 

 Mickie was my assistant during the photo sessions. She was in all my test shots.

 The kids played at the park with Uncle Matt while we were working.

Ashlyn's birthday dinner

We let the kids chose where they want to go for their birthday dinner, and Ashlyn chose McDonalds. She wanted a happy meal. Luckily Mucho Gusto is across the street, so Nate ran over there to get him and I food.

Zumba

With Paula being a Zumba instructor the kids have taken a liking to it. Here is their current favorite.

Boy Stuff

Amber

I think I may take more pictures of Amber than I did of Tanner, and I took a lot of him, being the first born and all. I didn't have a phone camera at my finger tips 10 years ago though. These are just random moments of cuteness.

Dentist

Amber loves the dentist for some reason. Probably because of the hygienist. She is the best!  She watched this and another video of there visit over and over again.

Lake of the Woods

We went up to Lake of the Woods towards the end of summer break with Michaela and some friends. She took these pictures. 

Ward Campout

Our ward had a campout in September. Nate took Ashlyn, Amber and Dallin. Tanner and I stayed home. We are party poopers. Looks like they had fun though. Jesse came out and brought the boat.

 I guess Amber was a little nervous on the boat. 

Family pictures

Michaela took our family pictures this year. I can't wait to see them! She does an amazing job. This is one she took on her phone.

Jog-a-thon

I helped at the jog-a-thon this year counting laps for the kids as they ran. It was fun. I didn't realize how many kids I know at Griffin Creek. It's so nice to know that there are so many good kids around my kids at school.

Kid Time and Preschool

Whenever I ask Amber what she wants to do for the day, she almost always says "Kid Time!" She loves to do crafts, make new friends and do Music and Movement.

  

Amber is loving preschool. This is her first day (on the left) and picture day (on the right). I took pictures for her class this year. It was fun. That age is great!
